FileShare & Manager

Last updated: October 9, 2026

1. About This Policy

This policy applies specifically to FileShare & Manager, published by AX Media Player & Editor. Its features include nearby file transfers, file organization, Web Share, cleaning, downloads, and a PIN-protected vault.

Package: com.ax.fileshare.fileexplorer.folder.manager

2. Permissions and Why They Are Needed

The following groups explain the important access declared by the app. Actual availability depends on Android and the feature you use. A declared permission does not establish continuous access or server collection.

Additional Sensitive Access

Contacts and phone state: The declared list includes READ_CONTACTS, READ_PHONE_STATE, and READ_BASIC_PHONE_STATE. Contacts permission permits access to your address book; phone-state permissions expose certain telephony or cellular-network information depending on Android. Their precise feature purpose is not established by the permission list. Review the app's explanation before granting access; these permissions are not inherently required for ordinary file browsing.

Cache clearing: CLEAR_APP_CACHE appears in the declared list. Android restricts this permission; its presence does not mean an ordinary app can erase every other app's cache. Cleaning capabilities depend on the access Android actually grants.

You can revoke permissions and manage special all-files or install access through Android Settings. Denying access may disable related features. End Web Share when finished and share only with trusted recipients.

3. Published Data Safety Information

As reviewed on October 9, 2026, the app's Google Play Data safety declaration states: Location and device or other identifiers may be collected. The listing declares no sharing with third parties and encryption in transit. These are the published developer declarations, not an independent technical audit.

See the app listing and current Data safety details. Local permission access and collection reported to Google Play have different meanings.

4. Advertising and Services

The app contains ads. Advertising, platform, and any integrated diagnostic services have their own data practices. Review the app's in-app privacy disclosures and linked service policies for details about the providers used by your version.

Use available in-app consent options and Android advertising controls to manage your preferences. A permission denial does not necessarily disable advertising.

5. In-App Purchases (IAP)

Where this app offers an optional premium upgrade or other in-app purchase, purchases made through Google Play use Google Play billing. Review the price, product type, and any renewal terms in the purchase screen before confirming.

Google processes payment credentials under its own privacy terms. Purchase verification can involve a product identifier, purchase token, order reference, and purchase status so the app or a verification service can determine entitlement. Exact verification storage and retention depend on the billing implementation.

For an eligible non-consumable purchase, use the original Google Play account and any restore option provided by the app. Consumable purchases and products from another app are not automatically transferable.

If a subscription is offered, manage or cancel it through Google Play subscriptions. Uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription. Refund eligibility is governed by Google Play refund rules and applicable law.

For purchase support, send the app name and order reference to the contact below. Never send card details, payment passwords, or authentication codes.

6. Retention and Deletion

Review cleaning selections and vault contents before deleting data. PIN access alone is not a guarantee of encryption or recovery.

Clearing app data may remove local settings and app-private content, while exported files, backups, and recipient copies may remain. Removing the app does not erase Google Play transaction records.

Contact us to ask about data held by us or available deletion options. Ask us about retention periods for records associated with your request or purchase. Provider-held records follow the provider's own policies and legal obligations.

7. Support and Privacy Requests

When you contact support, we receive your email address, message, and attachments and use them to respond. Include the app name and version, and send only information necessary to explain your request.

Depending on applicable law, you may be entitled to request access, correction, deletion, or object to certain processing. Email axmediaplayereditor@gmail.com to discuss your request.

8. Security and Children

Protect your device and access credentials, and share content only with trusted recipients. No storage or transmission system can guarantee complete security.

Parents or guardians with questions about a child's information can contact us. A store content rating alone does not establish that an app is designed for children.

9. Changes and Contact

This policy may be updated when features or data practices change. The date above identifies the latest revision.
